The ChurchDiary app

The church, in everyone’s pocket.

Monday morning

What needs attention, before anyone asks.

The overview does not wait for a question. It counts what is missing, groups it by kind and puts the worst first.

The church administrator opens Church Insights. Before the charts, the six-figure strip: people, families, groups, baptisms, dedications, and one figure in the status colour for late.

Twenty-three need attention, across four kinds. Eleven members have no date of birth, so the age chart leaves them out. Six families have no address. Four baptisms are recorded without a date. Two families have no head.

Each row opens the list it came from, already filtered. When there is nothing left to show, the panel says so: All clear.

Insights on every page

Every module opens on an overview.

Built the same way each time: cards, a six-figure strip and a needs-attention list that only states what is the case.

What churches notice first

Everything a church runs on, and nothing it has to work around.

18 things pastors, administrators and members point to — from the calendar and the certificates to the money and the mobile app.

Run the week

Events, dates, work and property, each in its place.

  • Calendar view

A complete event manager: every service, meeting and camp on one calendar, by month or as a list, recurring events included.

  • Birthday and anniversary calendar

Whose birthday or wedding anniversary is coming up, for members and workers, in one church or across the organisation.

  • Task management

Boards, priorities, owners, due dates and effort, with an overview of what is late and who is carrying it.

  • Assets, with maintenance

Every asset with its category and a maintenance schedule, and overdue maintenance flagged before it becomes a repair.

Reach everyone

The right message, on the right channel, at once.

  • Bulk notifications

Instant communication: one message to the whole congregation, sent at once by email, push or SMS.

  • Controlled notifications

Each church chooses its channels and its SMS provider, sends from templates, and keeps a record of every message sent.

  • A mobile app people use

Members and workers on iOS and Android — the feed, events, giving and their own records, a tap away.

  • A website the church shapes

Pages and sections edited in place, a theme of its own, news, events, magazines and prayer requests — no developer needed.

Money, in the open

Every rupee, dollar or shilling accounted for.

  • End-to-end financial transparency

Every transaction against an account, from the payment to the report: where the money moved, what is pending, what failed.

  • Online payments

Giving and payments through the church’s own payment gateway, recorded against the right account as they arrive.

  • Grow the church financially

A target on every fund and progress toward it in view, so giving is planned rather than guessed.

One church or many

From a single congregation to an organisation of churches.

  • Multiple churches

Each church with its own members, workers, money and website, kept apart from every other.

  • Organisations of churches

A diocese or fellowship sees every church together, with insights across the whole organisation.

  • Multiple logins

A login for every worker and member, and one sign-in for anyone who serves in more than one church.

  • Profile PDFs and certificates

Member profiles and baptism, dedication and marriage certificates, generated as PDFs from the church’s own templates.

Built to be relied on

Safe, available, and easy on the people using it.

  • Secured

Access by role on every screen, and each church’s data kept apart from every other church’s.

  • High availability

Hosted on Microsoft Azure and built for the whole church to use at once — Sunday morning included.

  • User-friendly design

One design on every page: the same layout, the same buttons, the same overviews. Learn one screen and you know them all.

Three surfaces

One record, three surfaces.

The same member, worker, gift or event, wherever it is looked at: the web app, the mobile app and the church’s public website.

Web app

Where the records are kept and the overviews are read. Lists, forms and a six-figure strip on every module.

Mobile app

Members, workers, giving and content on iOS and Android, in the ChurchDiary app, on the Standard and Advanced plans.

A church member’s home in the ChurchDiary app: this week’s birthdays and anniversaries, news, events, magazines, e-books and the church’s YouTube

Public website

Every church gets a website, edited in place from the same records.

  • Pages and sections, edited in place
  • News, events, magazines and e-books
  • Prayer requests and form submissions
  • Give online
  • SEO and a visitors overview
